Koray Birand : Carmen Kass in HARPER'S BAZAAR, Arzu Kaprol for ALEM and MARIE CLAIRE editorial

Koray BIRAND photographed top model Carmen Kass for the Turkish February issue of HARPER’S BAZAAR. The ‘Dazed in Istanbul’ spread was realised in black/white and colour, so as to bring out the sensational blue tones of the tiles in the background. Melis Agazat carried out the styling, Ibrahim Zengin perfected the hair and Cigdem Yartasi applied the make-up.

ALEM is a German-Turkish news portal, reporting on subjects ranging from economics to culture and for example designer Arzu Kaprol’s and her fashionable creations. Koray photographed a revealing series with plenty of night time glamour and Arzu acting as both stylist and producer.

Model Hande Ataizi’s hair was styled by Omur Donmezdemir, her make-up was fixed by Hamiyet Akpinar.

Koray presents pastel light games in the February 2010 issue of MARIE CLAIRE. The editorial features model Kerri Lee Miller, whom he had also already captured in the January issue of HARPER’S BAZAAR, GoSee reported.

This spread was titled ‘Cheers or Jeers’ and is set in a Baroque surrounding. Hakan Ozturk was the stylist, Ibrahim took care of the hair was once more and Cigdem applied the make-up.
