Manuel Cortez : BERLIN CALLING book in cooperation with UNIVERSAL MUSIC and spread in BLANK magazine with Wilson Gonzales Ochsenknecht

As part of MTV EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS, photographer Manuel Cortez teamed up with Universal Music to publish his first photo book.

‘Berlin Calling’ is a book about Berlin, its people and characters. From the homeless to models, everyday craziness on the streets and the city’s legendary, unique nightlife.

Manuel photographed actor and singer Wilson Gonzales Oksenknecht for the cover of and accompanying spread in BLANK magazine. Italian designer Tom Rebl provided the fashionable looks.

Tom founded the label in 2007. The German-born designer studied at Dt. Meisterschule für Mode as well as at Central St. Martins, London.

Having worked for designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen, he became the Creative Director of the Andrew MacKenzie international fashion label.

His collection is stocked by Dantone (Milan), Planisphere (Paris), Royal Flash (Tokyo), Amalga (New York), Villa Moda (Dubai) and Stierblut (Munich) amongst others.
