Stefan Schütz : HANSAPLAST, ING-DIBA with Dirk Nowitzki

Where else could one possibly best imagine someone climbing up a wall than in Boulder, Colorado? It comes as no surprise then, that Stefan shot the print campaign motif, to accompany the TV commercial for HANSAPLAST EXTREME plasters in the Rocky Mountains. Fortunately the photographer did not fall victim to dizzy spells, due to a specially tailored seat which enabled him to literally hang head over heels above the model. The image was captured just in time as the first snow fell that very evening.

Stefan and his team arrived in Bamberg with a truck load of light and extras to photograph successful German basketball player Dirk Nowitzki for the new ING-DIBA campaign. How fitting that on the morning of the shoot, the basketball arena still wafted of fresh paint following the recently undergone renovation work. The man of 2,13 metres showed his charming side and provided stylist Regina Stiefel and make-up artist Alexandra Salatino with a great treat, as being of such a large stature demands the rubbing of baby oil on a rather large surface.
