Upfront : 'twice' exhibition by new entry Andrea KÜPPERS, German rapper Dendemann for FOUR MUSIC, recipe ideas for SCHWARTAU and DU DARFST

Andrea KUEPPERS is new addition to Upfront. In addition to commercial and editorial commissions, Andrea places great importance on his free projects and exhibitions. We have attached pictures from her latest exhibition of the ‘twice’ photo series, which deals with the contrast of uniform and individuality.

‘Twice’ is Andrea Kueppers’ long-term project, which photographs two identically clothed people, in uniform or workwear across several continents and countless countries, in front of a neutral background.

The portraits depict army members, religious societies or other easily identifiable career groups. She uses various methods to symbolise authority and power, as well as social ranking in society. The faces contrast this as each is unique and tells the story of the individual’s life.

Sebastian SCHMIDT made the most of his stay in Cape Town and visited a football crazy group of young kickers in Township. All of them were in pre-World Cup football fever. The shoot was about capturing their fun, energy and team spirit. GoSee presents the successful outcome.

Photographer and director Sven SINDT captured rapper Dendemann for his new ‘Vom Vintage verweht’ album (number 9 in the German album charts). Sven is responsible for the PR images, viral clips and video of the ‘Stumpf ist Trumpf’ single.

Segmenta PR commissioned photographer Sven C. RABEN with the photographic realisation of a recipe booklet for SCHWARTAU BACKWELT. It marks the third collaboration between Sven and the charming baking cookbook writer and Berlin café owner Cynthia Barcomi.

Sven also worked for DU DARFST: he was commissioned by Ines Uhlig PR to photograph mouth-watering recipe ideas by Clarence Brown. We have attached a couple of yummy shots from the recipe booklet.
