Westermann Studios : Jan-Peter Westermann in New Zealand
Jan-Peter Westermann came back from New Zealand with a wonderful story featuring the Marlborough Sounds. The Marlborough Sounds are one of the most important tourist areas of New Zealand, covering about 20% of its coast about 1.500 km of the northern tip New Zealands southern island. It is an incredible lanscape covered with numerous bays and untouched wilderness. The area is known for all sorts of different water sports. It is also the home of great wines and the *Green Lipped Mussels*, a kind of mussel only found in these waters. They are cultured in huge farms in the area of the little town Havelock. In the crystal clear water on the farm the mussels grow to about 8-12 cm. Prepared the right way they are a special treat. By the way, the story is not yet published ....!
