Bruno Banani, Ken Duken, Wayne Carpendale: strong men by Frank Wartenberg

For Frank P. Wartenberg, February was all about strong men: the 'Bruno Banani Dangerous Man' perfume campaign by photographer Frank WARTENBERG for the Dorland Grey agency and Procter & Gamble was realised at Havelstudios in Berlin.

Dreamboat Patrick Kuan once again embodies the male hero, who makes women faint due to his sheer presence and sex appeal. Ingken Benesch took care of the styling and Peggy KURKA c/o BIGOUDI perfected the hair & make-up.

Actor Wayne Carpendale and his father Howard Carpendale have just been on television in the father & son – story 'Lebe Dein Leben' on the ARD TV Channel. In FOCUS Magazine, he gives a sympathetic and lovely insight into his relationship with his father. Frank Wartenberg photographed Wayne in Hamburg for the article.

Later on, the creative collaboration continued: Wayne provided one of his portraits for the exclusive, non-commercial Grintsch 2012 charity calendar, which Frank produced together with the Grintsch Communications advertising agency from Cologne last year. The calendar features photographs that allude to the beginnings of famous novels in a satiric style.

Wayne Carpendale was transformed into Gregor Samsa from Kafka's 'Metamorphosis'. Barbara Bernhard was in charge of the styling, while Manuela Degelmann ensured the hair & make-up looked its best for the production.

In January, the German edition of ELLE celebrated actor and director Ken Duken and included him in their list of 'Very Important People'. The two-time Grimme Award winner posed for Frank's camera in Hamburg last year and presented his spontaneous, charming and lovely side. ELLE, Glampool and Team Wartenberg all agree: more please!
