Buy art from Monopol !

German magazine for art and life, Monopol, is helping young collectors to make their first steps to start off art collections! Monopol is offering its readers the opportunity to purchase exclusively designed editions of work by international aspiring and recognised artists at affordable prices. The artists also include young Munich photographer Martin Fengel (*1964). He attracts attention with his highly aesthetic pictures, which are sometimes cold and sterile, sometimes morbid and romantic. Martin, who also takes photos for the SZ magazine, the magazine in German broad sheet Sueddeustche Zeitung and the F.A.Z. am Sonntag (Sunday edition of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung), focuses on a central quality of seeing: He leaves things out to concentrate instead on giving special attention to other details. The forgotten and displaced, insignificant utensils captured on his camera are touching, many motifs inspire fantasy: a magnolia flower turns into a beguiling antler's stag at night, flowers remind of a dominatrix - narratives are created from the images. Monopol is offering photography printed on velvety paper "B9.10", 29.7 x 21 cm, 2004. It has a circulation of 45 (+5 A.P.), is signed and numbered, and costs 300 Euro + postage (for Monopol subscribers only 270 Euro). Orders are dealt with in rotation (first come, first served). Please send a mail to editionen@monopol-magazin.de or fax to +49 (0)30 - 440 13 443.
