Deepol : AWARDS !!!

DEEPOL is proudly presenting award-winning talents from the DEEPOL photographer pool: In June 2005 Katrin Binner and Dirk Brömmel won the 2005 17th BFF (German Association of Free-Lance Photographers) Promotion Prize . Katrin's Photo- Syntheses give a humorous glimpse into the clothing of the body, where the main features are *objects* and not the people. Kopfüber II (Headfirst II) is the title of Dirk's new work. Perpendicular to bridges he photographed boats on the River Rhine, which were put together from individual pictures on the computer to make impressive, ideal constructions of a two dimensional projection. At the end of June Miriam KLIPPEL (DEEPOL photographer since 2004) was awarded the 2005 Gutenberg Grant from the city of Mainz for her thesis on the subject of work stations. AND: The Ansichten (Views) exhibition in the Schauspiel Frankfurt can be admired until 30th October 2005. Alexander Paul ENGLERT is showing another portrait series in an impressive large format.
