Mauritius Images : relaunched !

The website of the biggest European owner-managed picture agency has been technically and functionally updated. New features have been developed for the creatives, picture editors and art buyers. Mauritius images is now offering its clients exclusive access to a variety of international partner agencies, with individual maintained archives and a total of over 1 million pictures. The portal can now boast a faster performance with the innovative picture browsing with visual inspiration search, several layout tables to be downloaded, the fast-as-lightening display of search results incl. enhanced view and the access to protected and free motifs from all international partners. It is now also possible to purchase directly on the website, and there is an online price calculator, a new user administration, plus the international right clearing. Hans-Jörg Zwez, manager and owner of mauritius images said: *It’s about quality, not quantity. Individually maintained and top class picture archives offer more than the mega picture databases of the big companies. Clients now also want an individual service, also on the internet. Thanks to our new portal we can now be even more dynamic and high grade than ever before with our international partners. Picture search is not just easier, faster and more comfortable, but we are also offering completely new services, such as the visual inspiration search or the download of entire collections. Our innovative user management allows different users to have several accounts at the same time and to manage the whole thing themselves.* The re-launch was controlled in-house by mauritius and was carried out in cooperation with several partners: idea, concept and design were by Berlin agency Plantage, the production of the site and the CMS was carried out by Sirup (also in Berlin), responsible for the picture database was Xebec (Regensburg). At the same time as the re-launch of the website mauritius images is starting up a comprehensive advertising campaign with ads, magazine supplements and a competition.
