Alphadog : CGI for VW AMAROK, VW's most important launch on the 2010 truck market
Here on GoSee, Alphadog present their CGI artwork for AMAROK, VOLKWAGEN’s most important new model launch on the truck market in 2010.
The typical ‘VW Design DNA’ can be experienced with this genuine pick-up. One of the challenges for the world market launch was to emphasise these characteristics in the images.
Emir HAVERIC c/o KLEIN PHOTOGRAPHEN (vehicles without people) and Tom Mennemann (audience motifs, with people) photographed the back plates in South Africa.
The Alphadog specialists rendered the cars in close collaboration with the individual photographers and integrated them into the motifs with plenty of attention to detail. The agency was Grabarz & Partner.
The series production of the 4-wheel truck has been running since the start of December at the VW factory in Buenos Aires. Sales launched at the start of 2010 in South America, the German launch will follow in September 2010.
The Amarok debuted at the Dakar Rally as the support vehicle – carefully observed by the Japanese competition. VW’s Amarok is clearly challenging their pick-up models.
The era of the more modest truck with simpler technology, but with fuel economy data above the ten-litre range seems to have come to an end – we are looking forward to seeing the competition’s answer.
