The Scope : Blue Efficiency models for MERCEDES - symbiosis of virtual worlds and high quality photography
DAIMLER AG commissioned photographer Mars Cordt to produce an international campaign for the Blue Efficiency models. The brief was to design an abstract vision of the Blue Efficiency concept within a space.
International set designer Tino SCHAEDLER c/o F.A.CESAR was commissioned to achieve this look. Hollywood blockbusters such as ‘The Golden Compass’ and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ have also relied on Tino's creation of futurist worlds.
Together with the photographer, he developed modern architectural elements for MERCEDES, which were then dissolved in the 2nd phase of creation. This created a visual language that symbolises the trendsetting energy recycling of Blue Efficiency.
Mats Cordt directed the whole creative process under the supervision of Deneke von Weltzien (CD) and Tilman Gossner (AD) from Jung von Matt/Alster. Flyers, a catalogue and a calendar were produced in addition to the international campaign. The calendar project is almost finished and will be on display here on GoSee shortly.
The Scope specialise in the emerging process of skilfully combining virtual worlds with photography. Thanks to many years of experience in the field of real photography productions, The Scope is able to tailor the process according to the photographer's and agency's requirements.
CG locations open up an immensely creative playground. The Scope is keen to introduce interested parties to this new dimension of creativity. Enquiries about presentation dates go to info@the-scope.net
