Basics : DUMMY magazine disabled issue and HONK! Fairytale Issue

The new issue of society magazine DUMMY is all about disabled people and that goes for the models too. Tamera graced the spot in front of the camera for a fashion editorial. Hair & make-up by TAN Vuong.

Edith HELD c/o KELLY KELLERHOFF photographed the spread and cover in the Spirale Berlin. This time, the art directors were Catrin Sonnabend and Kirstin Weppner.

The editorial is introduced as follows: ‘With this issue, we tried to do something that isn’t done often enough: Communicate with disabled people, interview them, look at them and rely on our common sense and empathic nature, a combination of which might show us a better path than the guard rails of political correctness. This very path led us to a man who jumped into a lake and came out paraplegic. We visited a creep who uses his wheelchair to make himself even creepier. We went to a disabled people’s disco and had more fun than we have in cool clubs in Berlin’.

HONK! Magazine’s second issue is hot off the press. Make-up artist MISCHKA Hart and photographed Robert Klebenow created the cover shoot and a spread in the ‘Fairytale Issue’.
