Embassy of Dreams : the hour of truth - mobile EMPORIA phones for senior citizens

EMPORIA telephones demonstrated at the International Mobile Show in Berlin, that senior citizens can be spontaneous, flexible and mobile.

In the film, an elderly couple in a mobile phone shop know exactly what they want, and have known for quite some time too. They have started revolutions, discovered foreign worlds, reinvented love and created peace and unity. And now after all those years, they want to be taken seriously. Any they know exactly what they want: no nonsense!

Nerdfilms shot the film under Torben Liebrecht’s direction and in collaboration with the ddb Berlin agency. Five camera operators, as well as four sound engineers spent an afternoon working in the midst of the Mobile Show crowds.

EMPORIA TELECOM, based in Linz, Austria, make phones that offer more than others – or perhaps less. User-friendliness comes first. All functions are tailored to suit the needs of elderly people.

The EMPORIA Life was introduced. Large buttons and a big display make it easy to use. The large emergency call button on the back means that the mobile can even save lives.
