Steel Productions : COOP, HELVETIC TOURS, PFIZER

Switzerland came to Cape Town: last season (#11) saw Steel welcome photographer Thomas De Monaco, who carried out Swiss company COOP’s interiors catalogue shoot.

November 2007 (season # 12) welcomed another Swiss team, this time accompanying German photographer Thomas Kalak. Tour operators HELVETIC TOURS decided to travel to Cape Town with the Swiss-based Noise agency to produce their campaign photos. They were provided with the perfect locations, each with their own individual flair, which sets them apart from any others in the whole world.

In October, Steel had the pleasure of working together with Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf on a project for PFIZER with the Cline Davis agency of New York. The project brief : find several typical European locations for a new Pfizer product. Each location came brought about different challenges for he scout. The bureaucratic difficulties created through a shoot in a hospital were solved thanks to local set construction experts. Hence the perfect European selection was able to be realized. The production was also particularly successful thanks to Erwin’s photographic talent. We have attached a few making-of and final campaign photos.
