Damiani : “Interior Exposure“ by Jessika Todd Harper

“Interior Exposure” the picture book by Jessika Todd Harper is yet another Damiani publication in the “Forward” series, which showcases young international photography talents. The American photographer’s photo series was inspired by her grandmother’s Alzheimer illness. The result is a collection of photos that deals with family relationships and the perception of private spaces and everyday objects, where women are the centre of the family. The book includes a preface by photographer Larry Fink.

Jessica Todd Harper's work has already been displayed in various US American museums and galleries, such as: The George Eastman House's International Museum of Photography and Film; The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (2006-2007); The Museum of Fine Art, Ball State University, Muncie, IN (2007- 2008); as well as the Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, OR (2002). Her New York-based gallery Cohen Amador, presented a solo exhibition of her work in April.
