The railway in Great Britain is synonymous with 200 years of ingenious engineers, innovation, inspiration and a piece of home, for the good old times, for Miss Marple in Paddington and most recently Harry Potter and platform something-and-a-half.
The impressive online archive by the British railway company provides an unique collection of railway history – on paper, blueprints, drawings, dating back to the very beginnings of the railway, up to the present day and gathered from all over the kingdom.
