NEW : Wertical, the blog print hybrid, Cologne and their ‘Headful Creators’

WERTICAL is the newest entry at GoSee, a hybrid of blog and print and firmly dedicated to all things art, design and photography. The ambitious project is the brainchild of the people behind the Ruttkowski68 gallery in Cologne, which is a definite must go see (as reported by GoSee).

The project about art and its creators was born from the realisation that the art world seems to be subject to abundant arbitrariness. In this day and age, images make their way around the globe at a faster rate than ever before.

There isn’t much time left to think things through – history is being made and we may be part of it, everything is happening in front of our very eyes. But do we truly understand it?

There is a collective longing for things to slowdown, firm positioned points of view, people and their subjective opinions. Their concept expressed in one sentence: 'Wertical turns the floor over to the peculiar: to 'headful creators presenting their work and their thoughts by giving an insight into their life.

Headful Creators – such is the slogan emblazoned on their captivating flag. It refers to people, who think and create in equal measures, such as Jean-Paul Goude, Diane Pernet and Henrik Vibskov.
Apart from the daily articles, the website features a calendar with selected culture events and two extensive interviews with handpicked 'Headful Creators' on a fortnightly basis.

This month, they are featuring Danish fashion designer and artist Henrik Vibskov.
