Cornelie Tollens : "Hard Love - MYSTERY, SEXUALITY, DECADENCE, DEEP LAYERS OF SORROW...

... RAW TENDERNESS AND OBSCURE ROMANCE, DESIRE AND MORE DESIRE, DEATH VERSUS LIFE, BESTIAL LUSTS: these are all elements, which photographer Cornelie Tollens touches on in her work. The release of her new photo book  "Hard Love" coincides with Paris Photo and unites all the aforementioned elements. With each page that is turned, the book keeps the promise of its title. She explains why this is so in the new issue of BOOKLET.

The monograph and its wonderful design is published by D'Jonge Hond. Furthermore, a limited edition of 50 "Hard Love" books is available in a hard slipcase, alongside a signed and numbered photo print.

Cornelie is represented by the Flatland Gallery. Her work has already been exhibited in Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, New York and Kyoto. In addition to her artistic, personal projects, she also produces work for clients such as Nike, Ikea, Nokia and Martini, as well as fashion and lifestyle magazines.
