Alexandra Kinga Fekete : French actress Audrey Dana in Berlin's Kennedy Museum for BOOKLET, fashion shoot for QUALITY mag and a free series
Alexandra Kinga Fekete photographed French actress Audrey Dana at the Kennedy Museum in Berlin, for BOOKLET magazine. The hair and make-up skills were provided by MIRIAM Jacks c/o NINA KLEIN. The styling was carried out by TINA Rastegar c/o BLOSSOM MANAGEMENT.
Audrey Dana describes her own role as “A very intense story, very intense character“. But then this Prix Romy Schneider winner always acts with great intensity and a whole lot of heart and soul. And as if any other way were to even come into consideration? Audrey is intelligent, warm hearted, out there and thanks to “Welcome”, which was screened at the Berlinale, it is not just hardcore cineastes that are familiar with her work. She aims to have filmed her own plot as a director by 2010. She is currently acting in a movie alongside Emanuelle Béart. The film is set in the 70s, it is a “wonderful film” – with an “impressive script”. Audrey Dana is one of the few people that one believes when they use superlatives and give enthusiastic praise.
Time can fly in films and in life: “If I could wish for a journey in a time machine, then I would pick the 60s”. This is probably because after the turbulent post war years, a new, more free life began for everyone – “an amazing time“. In those days Audrey Dana would have happened to match the beauty ideal perfectly, because thanks to her Tunisian roots, this Frenchwoman has amazingly large, dark eyes, which look EVEN MORE sensational with a generous helping of eyeliner.
Sometimes Audrey asks herself if, in the 60s, she would have been “more Marilyn Monroe or Jackie Kennedy”, she goes for Marilyn “because of her feminine figure”. It is true, at first glance, the cool Jackie Kennedy and the genuinely affectionate Audrey Dana don’t have too much in common. The only thing the two of them have in common, are the photos for BOOKLET, which were realized at the Kennedy Museum in Berlin. A strong Audrey, award winning newcomer actress from Paris, (2008 Prix nominated as “Espoir“ for the César) conceals the picture of Jackie Kennedy, who has been obedient to her own fate for considerable periods of time. This is an image of two different generations of women (read the complete article and interview by Susanne Finsterer in BOOKLET).
Alexandra also shot a series for QUALITY magazine, which focuses on Australian singer and musician Soap & Skin.
Her free fashion story depicts a hairy situation. Model Masha was styled by JESSICA Klimach c/o OPTIX, her hair and make-up was perfected by TOBIAS Sagner c/o CLOSE UP AGENCY.
