Photographer Stefanie Schneider has left LUMAS in a dispute. Whilst the photographer denies the rapidly sinking quality of her portfolio, LUMAS themselves speak of a sharpening of the gallery profile. In addition to this, there were differences in accounting and payment queries. Before the separation various legal disputes were already well underway, which were all won by Stefanie Schneider – according to Hamburg-based media lawyer Jens O. Brelle’s informative newsletter.

Thus LUMAS agreed in a court in Cologne to withdraw their COLLECTING FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY VOL. I, HIGHLIGHTS OF THE LUMAS PORTFOLIO publication, released in September 2008, from the market, as it uses Stefanie Schneider’s work, but was not covered in her terminated contract.
