Götz George is Rainer Wahnsinn, Florian David Fitz is Roman Schreiber, Jürgen Vogel is Mario Nett. Germany's top acting class had their portraits taken for the attached book project.

They all embody fictional namesakes, whose ambiguous and funny nature was captured and photographed by renowned photographers such as Joachim Baldauf, Esther Haase, Martin Pudenz, Oliver Mark, Christian Schwarzenberg, Tobias Schult, Thomas Rusch and Christian Schoppe.

Be it ‘Rainer Wahnsinn’, ‘Manni Fest’, ‘Klara Himmel’, ‘Lotta Bett’, ‘Moni Tor’ or ‘Klaus Trophobie’ - the stories are narrated by impressive photographs, which have been collected in a sophisticated picture book, which goes by the name of 'Rainer Wahnsinn' and is published by Seltmann+Söhne Verlag, out now.

Both the artists as well as the photographers and producers went without pay and worked for free as 10 EUR from the sales revenue (35 EUR per volume) are donated to German Cancer Support.
The idea for the project as well as the contacts to the actors was provided by Marika Ullrich ( MaSaLi Produktion and Götz George’s wife). Katinka and Benjamin Krieger (KRIEGER ARTMANAGEMENT) were in charge of selection of photographers and the production of all shoots, as well as art direction. The creative trinity managed to complete the project within a short time.

The result: 31 actors and 31 photographers supported the project and contributed their artistic passion. A selection of motifs is available here on GoSee.
