NEW : Manuel Cortez, actor, artist and photographer, Berlin - in a lift with 30 Sec to Mars and Lady Gaga's Space Cowboy for BLVD mag

GoSee gives a warm welcome to Manuel CORTEZ. The Berlin resident is an actor, artist and photographer, and his face is becoming more famous by the minute.

Manuel spends a considerable amount of time in an acting school for kids in Lisbon. He completed his training in singing and acting in the same town too. By the time he came of age he underlined his artistic competence by studying as a make-up artist for special effects.

Ever since, then he has been busy as a bee in several fields and photographed, amongst others, DJ Tomekk, Juliette Lewis and Kitty Kat. His artwork projects are usually of a rather grand nature, he likes colours and playing with the elaborate.

We have attached two series, which he shot for BLVD magazine. He shot Jared Leto and his band 30 Seconds to Mars in the lift at Hotel Lux11, Berlin. Luckily, the lift didn’t get stuck and the band managed to hit the stage on time.

The Roomers design hotel in Frankfurt served as an appropriately cranky backdrop for Space Cowboy. Lady Gaga’s DJ literally shone in suits by Guido Maria Kretschmar, Hugo Boss and glasses by Funk. The jewellery by Sabo Schmuck almost drowned within the sea of glitter. Manuel took the pictures, handled the styling as well as the art direction.
