Dirk Schaper (born 1966) discovered his passion for photography at the early age of 15. While still at university, he founded and established his own studio for commercial photography in his home city of Berlin.

Since 1989, Schaper has worked as a freelance photographer for clients in business and industry. In addition to his photography, he is also actively involved with several charitable and community organizations (NABU / DRK / Berliner Symphoniker) and promotes the talents of young people who share his absolute love and passion for photography.

Schaper lives with his wife Annett, daughter Lola, and son Johnny in Berlin.
