Lucila Blumencweig was born and raised in Buenos Aires. At age 15, she fell for photography while on a trip to NY to visit her father. While he was working, he gave her his old Yashica Electro (still her favourite camera today) to keep track of the city, and so she did! She worked in the film industry as an art director at first, before founding her own photography studio in Buenos Aires where she is fortunate to be working for the most prestigious agencies such as TBWA, BBDO, Y&R, MOTHER, DDB, and GREY among others. With the sun on Libra and a Sagittarius moon, she keeps moving and moving. Mother of two, loves to travel, loves taking risks, and creating deep, emotional pictures.
