O Amenal II, July 1936, Falangists told 5 municipal council members of Boimorto to run down the hill-side, in order to machine gun them. Isidro Filloy López, Andrés Filloy and Caitán García Vázquez refused. Their bodies were found in a grave close to the road. Ramón Vázquez Garea and Ramón Sánchez Rapel, shot further down the hill are still missing. Neighbours buried the bodies in 2 mass-graves and took care of them during decades.
