At the tender age of 20, Volker Hinz kick started his career when he started selling photographs to newspapers and magazines. He became the head of the 'Sven Simon Bild Agentur' in Bonn at the age of 24 and his portraits of German politicians taken in the former German capital enjoyed a lot of attention and praise far beyond the regional level.
