Cäthe was born in Düsseldorf in the Rhineland. After completing an apprenticeship as a dressmaker in a haute couture studio she turned to fashion sales business, and worked in visual merchandising. After being employed for five years as a stylist for photo-productions Cäthe started a freelance career in 2010. Since 2011 Cäthe is represented by Ligawest.
