Neil Bedford c/o Making Pictures

Additional Info // about Neil Bedford

BIO
Neil Bedford likes to leave very little to chance. He plans his shoots down to the last detail and is meticulous in conducting research and gathering reference material. Born and raised in Bradford, he still splits his time between his hectic South London base and the peace and quiet of Yorkshire where he finds it easier to plan upcoming projects. It's clearly working, as his stylised images have attracted fashion brands, top magazines and big commercial clients.

Trained at the London College of Fashion, he pays close attention to how tone and colour combine for creative effect, and this distinctive look unites his diverse portfolio. Two of his ongoing collaborations reflect Neil’s versatile skillset. His pictures of Kasabian, created with Aitor Throup, present the band in a fascinatingly intimate way, while his shoots for the much-revered slow living journal Kinfolk show off a more conceptual side of his practice.

Other titles like British GQ, The Green Soccer Journal and Riposte have called on his talents, as have leading brands like Visa, for whom Neil shot their social media campaign at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Proving he is equally comfortable on location as in the studio, this project marked another step in Neil’s ongoing creative development.
