The German Aerospace Center conducts cutting-edge R&D in the areas of aeronautics, space, energy, transportation, and security. At the production sites in Stuttgart and Augsburg, DOMINIK OBERTREIS has already had the pleasure of photographing behind the scenes of the equally complex and exhilarating areas of DLR. And now he has been to Cologne – where he has also had the opportunity to capture complex content on location with his camera. The result is an extensive and diverse corporate image pool.
For his longstanding client ROBATHERM, Dominik had congenial employees once again in front of his lens: “It’s always a pleasure coming back and being able to photograph for this very special company.” Dominik Obertreis, photographer.
robatherm is an owner-managed, medium-sized company and a premium manufacturer of air handling units for building technology. Today a staff of more than 550 employees worldwide are focused on manufacturing individual ventilation and air-conditioning solutions which meet the highest standards in terms of quality, safety, and durability for the benefit of their customers. The company is run now already in the fifth generation by Managing Partner Albert Baumeister.

For the renowned KERKHOFF Klinik in Bad Nauheim, Dominik had the pleasure of photographing very special motifs for an employee recruitment campaign. The models were all real employees, and it was nothing less than miraculous on the part of the clinic to make sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. “It was very well-organized, and everyone had a lot of fun.” says photographer Dominik Obertreis.
Dominik recently had the opportunity to portray the company PASM and get a fascinating glimpse into the world of energy. PASM is a reliable energy provider that stands for planning security and price stability.
His work as a photographer has not only given him the chance to document the technical side of PASM but also get to know the people behind the company. It has been inspiring for him to see how passionate and committed the team from PASM are about their work and how willingly and naturally they slipped into the role of models for his lens. And a little side note : It’s been a particular pleasure for him to be on the job with a creative director, with whom he had previously photographed elephants in India….
The next shoot was also all about energy and sustainability. For Deutsche Windtechnik AG, he was in Galicia, Spain, where he photographed the employees – who never cease to amaze him – on site in a beautiful location complete with an ocean view. “Working in these dizzying heights has its own very special charm and deserves the greatest respect.” Dominik tells GoSee.News.

SARTORIUS, a leading partner of life science research and the biopharmaceutical industry, Sartorius supports its customers in the development and manufacture of biotech medications and vaccines – from the initial idea in the lab to commercial-scale production.
In Göttingen, DOMINIK OBERTREIS photographed a corporate image pool for the congenial and innovative company, and got the chance to peek behind the scenes of the various areas. Serving as his models were none other than the simpatico employees from Sartorius.
Founded in 1870, Sartorius AG is a publicly listed pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier with headquarters in Göttingen. In terms of added value, the company is among the fifteen largest in Lower Saxony with a revenue of around € 4.2 billion and more than 15,000 employees.
“There are other ladder makers. But we make the difference,” we read on the HYMER home page. Dominik had the pleasure of showcasing these innovative and wonderful ladders, stairs and platforms at their very best. And was thrilled just as much about the products as he was about the wonderful employees. We have a small glimpse of both shoots for you.
